About the studio

One person. Fifty small apps. Zero tricks.

NicerNerd is a one-person app studio in Mels, in the Swiss Alps. Twenty years of keeping big cloud platforms running taught me how software can respect people. Now I build the small version: apps that do one thing well and leave you alone.

Four promises, in every app

Written down here so you can hold me to them.

Offline first

If an app can work without the internet, it does. Each app page says plainly when it can't.

No tracking

No ad networks, no third-party analytics. This website doesn't use any either.

No dark patterns

No fake timers, no guilt buttons, no hidden subscriptions.

Honest pricing

The price is on the app page before you download. Free means free.

The business side, including coaching and consulting, will live on nicernerd.ch.
